What should you know about redundancy?
You might think redundancy sounds like a great idea to move that employee out of your workforce… however; there can be significant consequences to this line of thinking.

From a business perspective, ‘redundancy’ is the elimination of a job(s) caused by downsizing, rightsizing or outsourcing… that is, a restructure of the business no longer needs a specific job to be performed. It is not about the individual who does it.
