Margaret Goody, director of Akyra Strategy and Development, has officially joined Gallup as an accredited StrengthsFinder Coach.
Gallup-Certified Strengths Coaches epitomize strengths-based coaching excellence and are fully qualified to provide coaching to anyone; including individuals, teams, and managers.
Ms. Goody said she is excited to support clients on what they do well, instead of fixating on their weaknesses.
“Building on our strengths to achieve goals and objectives from either a business or personal perspective has always appealed to me,” she said.
“In my view, focusing only on our weaker points is demotivating because we’re in a space that doesn’t excite us – focusing on our strengths will help lead to our greatest success,
“However, being aware of areas where we aren’t strong also enables us to partner in a generative way with our strengths to achieve success,
“Ultimately, StrengthsFinder coaching is about working with individuals and/or building teams to maximise their strengths that will assist in achieving individual and/or business objectives,” Ms. Goody said.
As a strengths coach, Ms. Goody can help individuals and teams go from simply knowing their strengths to truly living a strengths-based life; doing what they do best every day and helping them improve their quality of life in and outside of work.
Margaret Goody can now be found on the Certified Coaches Directory on the official Gallup website.
